In-duct electrostatic air cleaning that plugs into the HVAC and environmental control systems of closed-loop buildings.
Get in touchSealed facilities recirculate the same air. Dust, metal particles and oxidants build up unless something removes them in-line. We are developing a modular air-cleaning unit that fits inside existing air handlers to do that.
High-volume recirculated cooling air where fine dust affects hardware.
Auxiliary and non-safety buildings at small modular and advanced reactor sites.
Deep underground and hardened facilities that run on closed-loop air.
Mines, tunnels and industrial plants with heavy particulate loads.
Proven building blocks, combined into one retrofit module on a common flange pattern.
A magnetic pre-stage pulls out iron and manganese dust first.
Particles pick up an electric charge as they pass the ionizing stage.
Charged particles land on grounded, coated collector plates.
A catalyst layer breaks down ozone, targeting 5 ppb or less, with HEPA where required.
Decon Air is an early-stage company. Here is the honest status:
Pollution does not sit evenly at ground level. It layers and drifts, especially in inversion valleys and around mine sites. Decon Air is developing tethered aerial platforms that map air quality by height, so ground cleaning systems go where they matter most.
It is environmental engineering work, and we plan to build it with local Utah talent.
